Welcome to truePOS

truePOS is a single online portal for running a restaurant, a hotel, or both. Your team signs in from any web browser. There is nothing to install, and each person sees only the screens their role allows.

This manual covers the Business Portal, where you and your staff do day-to-day work: taking orders, checking guests in, billing, managing stock and staff, and reading reports.

How this manual is organised

PartRead it if you want to…
Part 1: Product TourGet a quick overview of every module: what it does and who uses it. Ideal before you buy.
Part 2: Task GuidesLearn how to do a specific job, step by step (for example, take a dine-in order or check a guest out).
AppendixLook up roles and permissions, which modules come with which plan, and answers to common questions.

Every chapter is labelled so you can skip what doesn't apply to you:

LabelMeaning
RestaurantRestaurant, café, cloud-kitchen and bar operations
HotelHotel, resort and guest-house operations
SharedUsed by every business, whatever its type
Add-onAn optional module. You see it only if your plan includes it

Note: The menu you see in the portal depends on two things: the modules in your plan, and the permissions of your role. If a screen described here doesn't appear for you, check with your account owner.
